Strada Education ecosystem
Rubikal ran a roughly 50-engineer organization — five disciplines plus management and QA — for a national US education nonprofit.
What we delivered
Strada Education Foundation connects education and work across the United States. It is the successor to USA Funds, which brought more than $1.2 billion in assets to the 2017 rebrand. Rubikal did not staff a slice of its engineering; we ran the organization.
- A managed engineering organization of about 50 people across backend, frontend, mobile, data and analytics — plus product managers, engineering managers and QA.
- Around 18 months working alongside Strada strategy, product and marketing to envision, design and build web and mobile platforms.
- Platform work across the portfolio: InsideTrack’s uCoach, Archways to Careers with McDonald’s, The College Fair and CAEL.
Archways to Careers — McDonald’s
The employee app that helps McDonald’s restaurant teams set goals and grow, built inside the Strada portfolio and praised by McDonald’s Global Chief Learning Officer.
InsideTrack — uCoach
A pioneering student-coaching platform: a web and native coaching stack that lets coaches reach students by text, virtual call and email at scale.
Roadtrip Nation
The PBS career-exploration series, part of the same education cluster. Its own published figures: 85M public-TV households reached a year and 14M students with tool access — client context, not Rubikal outcomes.
The College Fair & CAEL
Two further portfolio platforms carried by the same organization — college discovery, and adult learning-to-work programmes.
